“In Dulces bestias human beings assume once again animal attributes, as they have done throughout history to transcend their human condition. By embodying the former they move closer to nature, from which they have felt increasingly alienated and for  which they have assumed the role of master. The beasts express their animality and bow their heads to the immense power of nature. They accept and express their animality in order to communicate with other beasts.”  Roberto Torres
The Compañía Nomada was created in 2000 and has its headquarters at the Teatro Victoria in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Its main line of work is to cross the barrier of space; in other words it brings contemporary dance to all types of audiences and in all types of spaces, striving to improve the communication between artists and audience. In addition, Nomada is a research platform that uses theatre and audio-visuals to enrich its shows.
